First I choose the colors I wanted to use for the inside of the plate
Then I traced out each piece of glass on the sketch I made and cut the glass and putting with the other pieces I cut make sure it fit
Then I cut the black strips of glass for the edge of my plate
then I placed all my pieces down with glue
Then there were gaps in between each of my pieces so I filled it with black frit powder to give it the stained glass effect
Slumping Glass
Slumping glass is when you put your glass in the kiln and "cook" it. Then you fire it again but faced down on a mold at a different temperature and the glass will form around the mold and once cooled it will be the shape of the mold you placed it on. The temperature its set on is 1,099–1,251 °F
