My favorite piece was definitely my mosaic. Even though it was complete hell and patience drainer the final outcome is DEFINITELY worth it. You're only gonna get a good outcome if you put hard work into it. I thought that when I put the grout in that I would ruin it, but actually it made the whole thing look better. the grout darken the whole guitar out and made it less bright. The grout looks almost grey in the light but lucky my room is dark and only lit up by christmas lights. The most challenging project was the mosaic also because it wasn't the placing the pieces it was the patience it took. To no explode and go crazy I took lots of breaks. The constant placing the pieces and gluing could make you sick and give up. The mosaic took me I think almost two months. But it was totally worth it because now I got a one of a kind guitar that is very amazing and cool. When I first walked into the classroom I didn't feel out of my comfort zone because I already had a whole semester in there from ceramics. I didn't know a single thing about metals and glass when I walked in. But now I know so much more than I did before. I learned how to set the kiln to full fuse, I learned how to make a mosaic and the process of it, how to solder. I probably wont take this class again but it was a fun class but I do think ceramics is more fun and has more variety.
