Process
I took off the strings on the guitar
Then I painted the whole top of the guitar white as a base and set in front of a fan to dry, I added two coats
Then I started to cut tiny shapes of glass
Finally I set them in place where I want them and I glue them down
I cut big chunks of black glass to make the eyes and nose
I left gaps in the guitar so the grout would fill it and give it effect
Then I cut the rainbow of colors in small pieces
Then I put them in the kiln on full fuse setting and one dry I took them out and they became frit balls
Then I did the same as the other tiny pieces and glued them down and tried to give it a tie-dye effect.
Then Mrs. Berens mixed me black grout and I spread it all over my guitar making sure to fill the cracks
Then I wiped the top layer off and let it harden a little
I get a wet sponge then wiped it down making sure the guitar was free of grout when done washing
Then the next day I wiped it down one more time and it was done
